Lucy Colback,
Editorial Director of FT Women in Business Asia Forum

Lucy is the Financial Times’ former Asia Lex Editor, a role in which she used her 20 year experience as an Asia investment specialist to write commentary on financial market issues.

She is currently researching and writing a book on the experiences of World War Two survivors, while in her spare time editing corporate governance-related publications.

Lucy’s former roles include investment manager at Schroders and Asia equity research sales with Merrill Lynch. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Sally Wan,
CEO, AXA Hong Kong and Macau

Sally has extensive management and business development experience in insurance companies covering the Asia Pacific Region. She has held a number of senior positions including in major insurance companies in Asia, including Hong Kong and Japan.

Prior to joining AXA Hong Kong and Macau in November 2018, Sally was with AIA Group for more than 11 years in various senior positions including Regional Director in Financial Planning and Management and Regional Business Development Director. She spent about 7 years in Tokyo with Allianz Fire and Marina Japan Ltd as Chief Financial Officer and other senior positions. She started her career in KPMG Hong Kong in 1996.

Sally is a qualified accountant with CPA Australia and holding a Bachelor degree in Commerce with The University of New South Wales, Australia.

Peter Levesque,
Group Managing Director, Modern Terminals

Peter has over 30 years of international transportation and logistics experience and has been working in APAC since 1996. He is currently the Group Managing Director of Modern Terminals Limited based in Hong Kong.

Peter holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and HKUST. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship for the Kellogg/HKUST EMBA program, and for the HKUST’s MBA program. Peter served in 2014 and 2015 as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong representing over 800 companies across 40 different nationalities. In addition to his time at AmCham he served as President of The American Club in 2013. Peter currently sits on the Shipping & Transport Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Hong Kong – United States Business Council. Peter is the author of The Shipping Point, The Rise of China and the Future of Retail Supply Chain Management, which was published by Wiley & Sons in 2011. He is slated to be President of Ports America headquartered in the Jersey City, effective from February 2020.
